Hoi Mei Wan Beach

Hoi Mei Wan Beach is a public beach in Tsuen Wan with fine sand stretching along a protected bay bordered by mountains on either side. The shoreline includes facilities for swimming, dining, and recreation throughout the area.

The beach was substantially renovated in 2011, improving water quality standards and installing modern safety equipment. This upgrade transformed it into a better-managed and safer swimming destination.

Families use the designated barbecue zones on weekends, preparing and sharing meals together while spending time in the outdoor setting.

Lifeguards monitor swimming areas from April through October, with increased presence during the summer months. Visitors should exercise caution outside this season when supervision is limited.

The beach features textured pathways and specially designed maps for visually impaired visitors to navigate facilities independently. This inclusive design allows everyone to enjoy the location's natural setting and amenities.
