Gänsehäufel

Gänsehäufel is a swimming facility on a Danube island that includes multiple pools of different sizes, natural bathing beaches, and spacious green areas. The complex spreads across forested sections with changing cabins, food options, and play areas distributed throughout.

The swimming site was established in 1860 as one of Vienna's first public bathing places on this Danube island. After flood damage, the facility was completely rebuilt and expanded in 1948.
