Wörthersee Stadion, Multi-purpose stadium in Klagenfurt, Austria

Wörthersee Stadion is an oval multi-purpose stadium in Klagenfurt with a continuous white roof ring sloping gently outward, supported by concrete pillars above the facade. Dark red tiered seating surrounds a green rectangular pitch, and a white spiral ramp and stairways attach to the right side of the bowl. Rectangular white-roofed structures covered with flat solar panels sit along the lower left exterior above a grey concrete base with entrances.

Built between 2006 and 2007, this stadium replaced the 1960 facility to prepare for the UEFA Euro 2008 tournament. The capacity increased from approximately 11,000 to 32,000 seats to meet international standards.

In 2019 the pitch held Klaus Littmann's For Forest, about 300 trees up to 14 metres tall, landscaped by Enzo Enea and inspired by Max Peintner's 1970 drawing The Unbroken Attraction of Nature. Entry was free daily from 10am to 10pm, and the trees were replanted near the campus afterwards.

The stadium sits in the Sportpark Klagenfurt campus in Waidmannsdorf, alongside a rowing tank, an athletics facility and a ball-sport centre. The lower tier of the South Stand has rail seats for safe standing, while the upper stands were closed from August 2015 to January 2016 by a court ruling. A white spiral ramp and stairways serve the right side of the bowl.

The lower section of the South Stand features movable rail seats that can be reconfigured depending on the event type. This flexibility allows for both traditional seated viewing and safe standing arrangements for different occasions.
