Wörthersee Stadion, Multi-purpose stadium in Klagenfurt, Austria
The Wörthersee Stadion features a dynamic roof design above the East tribune and maintains close proximity between spectators and the playing field.
Constructed between 2006 and 2007, the stadium replaced its 1960 predecessor to prepare for UEFA Euro 2008, expanding capacity from 10,900 to 32,000 seats.
The stadium hosted an environmental art installation called For Forest in 2019, transforming the entire football field into a temporary forest landscape.
The VIP Lounge includes an elevated box section above the West building with dedicated space for 300 guests offering superior field views.
The stadium incorporates rail seats in the South Stand lower tier, enabling both seated attendance and safe standing during different types of events.
