Südoststeiermark District

Südoststeiermark is an administrative district in Styria with 25 municipalities and Feldbach as its administrative center. The area spreads across agricultural landscapes with vineyards, fields, and small villages that blend into the countryside.

The area was created in 2013 through the merger of the former Radkersburg and Feldbach districts into a single administrative unit. This consolidation brought a long-established region under one administration.

The municipalities here maintain their distinct character through regular festivals where you can experience traditional Styrian music, food, and craftsmanship. These local celebrations shape daily life and connect people across generations.

The area is easily accessible from several larger cities and has working infrastructure for daily needs and services. Most places are connected by local roads and can be explored simply by car.
