Wild- und Erlebnispark Ferleiten

This mountain wildlife park extends across 15 hectares near the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, presenting 250 animal species in natural habitats at 1151 meters elevation.

The park established a combined enclosure for bears and wolves in 2019, recreating the natural Alpine ecosystem that existed in these mountains for centuries.

Educational stations throughout the park inform visitors about Alpine fauna and flora, while offering opportunities to observe native species in their mountain environment.

The park operates from May to November with specific areas designed for wheelchair access, including paths leading to observation points and animal enclosures.

The facility combines a wildlife sanctuary with a 20,000 square meter adventure park containing 40 different play installations, all surrounded by mountain landscapes.
