The Historical-Ethnographic Museum of Khinalig occupies 160 square meters across two halls within a structure resembling a traditional castle.
Established in 2001 by village resident Khalil-Rahman Jabbarov, the museum contains manuscript books dating from the 15th to 19th centuries.
The museum displays 2,000 exhibits including traditional clothing, carpets, kilims, pottery, stone books, and household items representing local customs.
Located 225 kilometers from Baku at 2,150 meters elevation, the museum provides guided tours explaining the significance of regional artifacts.
Manuscript collections in the museum demonstrate the village's connection to scientific pursuits through multiple centuries.
