Ganja-Dashkasan Economic Region, Economic region in western Azerbaijan
The Ganja-Dashkasan Economic Region is an administrative area in western Azerbaijan covering 5,270 square kilometers. It includes the districts of Dashkasan, Goranboy, Goygol, and Samukh, along with the cities of Ganja and Naftalan.
The region was created in 2021 from the division of the former Ganja-Qazakh Economic Region, marking a major restructuring of administrative boundaries. This reorganization was part of a broader effort to reconfigure Azerbaijan's regional structure.
