Heydar Aliyev Park

Heydar Aliyev Park is a large green space in Ganja with an artificial lake, amphitheater, and recreational areas. The grounds include gardens, cycling paths, and the Ganjland amusement area, which together form a place for different kinds of activities.

The park began in 1979 when residents planted trees during a community event. A major renovation project from 2012 to 2014 transformed the grounds significantly.

The park is named after an important leader and holds monuments to poets and figures of national importance. Theater performances here feature regional art forms and traditional ornamental designs that give visitors a sense of local identity.

The park grounds are well equipped for cyclists and offer several areas for walking and relaxing. The best time to visit is during milder months when the weather is pleasant and the park is full of visitors.

A large triumphal arch measuring 50 meters long and 38 meters high dominates the park grounds and offers wide views of the surroundings. This striking structure was built during the renovation and is visible from different parts of the park.
