Fortress of Doboj

Fortress of Doboj is a stone castle situated on a hilltop where three rivers meet in northern Bosnia. It features thick defensive walls, multiple towers, and interior grounds with the remains of various historical structures.

The castle was founded in the 13th century as a defensive stronghold and passed through various rulers over the following centuries. Ottoman forces took control in 1476 and transformed the structure with significant reconstruction work.
