Adinath Temple

The temple structure stands 6 meters high with dimensions of 10.5 by 9.75 meters, featuring inner walls of 1.05 meters and outer walls of 0.60 meters thickness.

The temple emerged during the evolution of Natha philosophy in the 10th-11th centuries, when Saivites and Buddhists merged their practices into Tantric traditions.

The northern section contains two square worship rooms measuring 3.35 meters, with the eastern room housing the Adinatha Banalinga Shiva and the western room containing an eight-armed Durga.

Visitors can reach the temple from Cox's Bazar by taking a rickshaw to Ghat number 6 for 15 Taka, followed by a speedboat ride costing 75 Taka.

The temple entrance displays a bow shape, with decorative elements including lotus patterns, kalasa motifs, and chakra symbols adorning the finials atop the domed structure.
