Dinajpur Rajbari, Royal palace in Dinajpur, Bangladesh
The palace complex spans 16.41 acres and contains multiple buildings with semi-Corinthian columns, grand halls, courtyards, and decorative archways.
Built in the late 19th century, the Dinajpur Rajbari served as the administrative center and residence for the Maharajas who governed the region.
The palace grounds include Hindu temples, including a Krishna temple in the main compound and another temple with a flat roof in the eastern section.
The palace buildings, located in the north-eastern part of Dinajpur city, remain accessible through a western entrance arch despite their deteriorated condition.
The complex formerly contained two large water reservoirs, defensive moats, gardens, and a zoological park that no longer exists.
