Established in 2010 as Bangladesh's ninth veterinary institution, the college operates under Jashore University of Science and Technology with Dr. Liaquit Ali as founding principal.
The institution maintains strong connections with local farmers, providing veterinary support while enabling students to gain practical experience in animal healthcare.
The college admits 60 students annually for a five-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, including four years of academics and one year of internship.
The facility houses a third-generation central laboratory dedicated to biotechnological research, genetic studies, and vaccine development for animal health advancement.
