Tarash Bhavan

Tarash Bhavan is a two-story stone building with a rectangular layout and Greek architectural elements visible on its facade. The structure displays classical design features that reflect the building style of its era and period.

The prominent landowner Banamali Roy Bahadur built this residence in the 1800s as a private retreat. The house documents the wealth and power of the zamindar class in the region during that period.

The building stands among other significant places like Banamali Institute and Jagannath Deva Temple, which together form a cultural center in the district. Its location near these institutions shows how important this place was and remains for the local community.

Visitors can reach the building from Pabna Bypass Terminal by rickshaw or auto-rickshaw. The journey takes about 15 minutes and allows you to see the local area along the way.

The entrance gate was designed with special dimensions to allow the zamindar family's elephants to pass through. This detail reveals the luxury and lifestyle that the wealthy households of that era enjoyed.
