Loup Garou, Wooden roller coaster at Walibi Belgium, Wavre, Belgium
Loup Garou extends over 3396 feet of track and reaches speeds of 50 miles per hour through a series of drops and curves.
The Vekoma-manufactured roller coaster opened its gates to visitors on April 28, 2001, marking a new era for Walibi Belgium's attractions.
The name draws from French folklore, representing a mythological creature that transforms from human to wolf under the full moon.
The coaster accommodates 24 riders per train in four cars, with guests requiring a minimum height of 120 centimeters to participate.
The wooden structure rises to 92 feet without inversions and features a chain lift hill mechanism that pulls riders to the initial drop.
