Dalton Terror

Dalton Terror is a drop tower ride at Walibi Belgium in Wavre where passengers are hoisted upward before plummeting downward in a sudden free fall. The attraction delivers a vertical thrill with rapid descent speeds and a brief moment of weightlessness.

Opened in 1998, the ride was originally the tallest drop tower in Belgium and across the world when it first arrived. It represented a major investment that significantly transformed the park's western-themed section at that time.

The ride takes its name from the Lucky Luke comic series villains and sits within a Western-themed zone featuring a saloon and sheriff's office.

Visitors must meet height requirements and should secure or remove loose items before boarding the ride. The experience begins with a slow climbing motion followed by a rapid downward release.

When it opened, this ride held the worldwide record for height among similar attractions and drew thrill-seekers globally. That record status made it a landmark feature that visitors came specifically to experience.
