Challenge of Tutankhamon

Challenge of Tutankhamon is an interactive dark ride at Walibi Belgium where guests shoot at ancient Egyptian elements from six-passenger vehicles. The attraction features approximately 130 targets distributed along its route and spans over 200 meters in total length.

The attraction was designed and built by Sally Dark Rides in 2003. It received recognition in 2004 for its technical innovations and engineering accomplishments.

The attraction weaves ancient Egyptian mythology into its story through depictions of gods and tomb guardians. Visitors experience these elements as part of an interactive hunt through sacred chambers.

The ride is accessible to visitors of all skill levels and requires no special training or preparation. During the journey, the scores of all participants are tracked on digital displays, creating a fun competitive experience.

Riders who achieve higher scores unlock access to a special treasure chamber at the ride's end. Lower scores lead to different exits, making each journey a personalized adventure based on performance.
