Kasteel Ter Dolen

The stone castle stretches across its grounds with a central courtyard, incorporating traditional architectural elements from the 16th century Belgian design.

The structure began as a residence for the abbots of Sint-Truiden in the 16th century before transforming into a family-operated brewery in 1994.

The castle produces Belgian abbey beers following traditional methods, offering varieties such as Ter Dolen Lager, Dark, Triple, and Kriek.

Visitors can join guided brewery tours each Saturday and Sunday at 15:00, which last 45 minutes and include one beverage with the admission fee.

During winter months, guests can taste beers paired with local chocolatier creations while sitting near the castle pub's fireplace.
