St James's Church

The stone church measures 90 meters in length and features vaults that rise to a height of 22.5 meters above the ground.

Prince-Bishop Balderic II established the original abbey church in 1015, which later transformed into Saint James's Collegiate Church following Saint Peter's destruction.

The nave contains more than 150 decorated keystones, while the Renaissance pipe organ case and late 17th-century Baroque statues adorn the interior.

The church maintains regular visiting hours and stands in the center of Liège, near multiple public transportation connections and parking facilities.

The church's stained glass windows, created between 1525 and 1531, represent some of the finest examples of early 16th-century glass art.
