Sapareva banya

Sapareva Banya is a city in Kyustendil Province nestled at the northern foot of the Rila Mountains, surrounded by natural thermal springs. The hottest waters emerge directly from underground and feed numerous bathing facilities scattered throughout the town.

The site began as the Roman city of Germania in the 3rd century, serving as an important center in the province of Dacia. This ancient legacy shaped the region for centuries and established its reputation as a place of healing waters.
