Lake Peak, Mountain summit in Rila National Park, Bulgaria.

Lake Peak stands at 2,560 m in the Seven Rila Lakes area. Its western and southern sides are gently sloping and rounded, while its steep slopes drop toward the cirque of Bliznaka Lake. From the summit all seven lakes are visible.

The peak forms part of Rila National Park, which was established in 1992 to protect the area's natural landscapes and glacial lakes. The protected status was created to safeguard the delicate mountain ecosystems for the future.

The peak's Bulgarian name, Езерен връх, means "Lake Peak", taken from the Seven Rila Lakes below it. Hikers on the route from the Rilski Ezera hut pass the lakes Bubreka and Okoto before the final climb, and from the top all seven lakes are visible at once.

The best time to visit is between June and September when weather conditions are stable and trails are clearly passable. Marked paths lead from nearby starting points toward the summit, making navigation straightforward.

From the summit all seven Rila Lakes can be seen at once, from the Eye below to the Twins cirque. The peak is rounded and gentle on its west and south sides but drops steeply toward Lake Bliznaka. It can be reached from the northwest past the Eye or from the southeast at the Razdela saddle near Damga Peak.
