Museum of aviation

The museum features a collection of 65 aircraft including airplanes, helicopters, gliders, and radio-relay stations spread across indoor and outdoor exhibition areas.

The establishment of the aviation museum traces back to the early 20th century when Bulgaria recognized the growing importance of air power during global conflicts.

The museum holds more than 7,000 objects that document the progression of Bulgarian aviation through different periods of technological advancement.

The museum operates from Wednesday through Sunday, with summer hours extending until 5:00 PM and winter hours closing at 4:00 PM.

Visitors can experience specialized guided tours and virtual reality presentations that showcase the technical aspects of various aircraft models.
