The Lokomotiv Stadium features a central covered grandstand and a playing field measuring 105.3 meters in length and 71.4 meters in width.
The stadium opened its doors on September 6, 1982, with subsequent renovations in 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019 to enhance its facilities.
The venue serves as the primary home ground for PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv and forms part of a larger sports complex in the Lauta Park area.
The facility includes three additional training fields, tennis courts, a volleyball hall, and an indoor athletics center for diverse sporting activities.
In 1983, the stadium recorded its highest attendance of 33,000 spectators for a match against Chernomorets Burgas, with 6,000 more people outside.
