Todorini Kukli

Todorini Kukli is a summit in the western Stara Planina mountain range that rises to 1,785 meters. Its peak features four distinct rock formations that create a remarkable natural grouping.

The name Todorini Kukli comes from an old Bulgarian folk tale about a shepherd named Todor whose four daughters were turned to stone. This story remains part of local memory and shapes how people understand the place.

The summit can be reached via marked trails that start from the town of Varshets. April offers the most favorable climbing conditions for those attempting to reach the top.

The four rock formations at the peak create a distinctive silhouette that is clearly visible from the surrounding valleys. This unusual arrangement makes the mountain instantly recognizable.
