Georgi Benkovski Stadium

Georgi Benkovski Stadium is a football stadium in Pazardzhik with a modern grass field and covered seating areas that provide approximately 13,000 seats in total. The facility includes separate sections for players, match officials, and media representatives, along with conference rooms for official events.

The stadium was originally built in 1989 under the name Septemvri and received its current name in 1991 as a tribute to Bulgarian freedom fighter Georgi Benkovski. The renaming took place during a period of significant political transformation in Bulgaria after the fall of communism.

It serves as the home ground for local football club PFC Hebar Pazardzhik and functions as a gathering place for the city's football supporters. Match days bring fans from the surrounding area together to share in their passion for the team.
