House-museum "Ivan Vazov", Sofia

The personal residence exhibits restored rooms from the early 20th century, including the study with the original desk and Vazov's private library collection.

The building, constructed in 1895, became Bulgaria's first literary museum in 1926, five years after Ivan Vazov's death at this location.

The exhibitions display manuscripts, photographs, and personal items of Ivan Vazov, who wrote the influential novel 'Under the Yoke' about the 1876 uprising.

Located at 10 Ivan Vazov Street, at the intersection with Rakovski Street, the museum operates as part of the National Literary Museum network.

The preserved body of Bobby, Ivan Vazov's pet dog, remains on permanent display as part of the museum's collection of personal memorabilia.
