Polack District

Polack District is an administrative area in the northern part of Vitebsk Region in Belarus. It encompasses numerous settlements scattered around its main city, Polotsk, and covers gently rolling terrain across the landscape.

The area was established as a district in 1924 when Belarus underwent administrative reorganization from its previous Okrug system. This governmental structure has remained the foundation of local administration ever since.
