Fundamental library of the Belarusian State University

The Fundamental Library spans multiple floors containing 820 reading spaces and maintains a collection of educational materials across numerous disciplines.

Founded in 1926, the library began with 60,000 books and endured substantial losses during World War II, when it lost 83% of its collections.

The library organizes exhibitions and programs that highlight Belarusian literature while providing resources for international students from various countries.

With 140 staff members and nine lending departments, the library serves approximately 26,000 visitors annually through its physical and digital collections.

The facility integrates modern digital catalogs with traditional archives, offering specialized reading rooms for different academic departments and research needs.
