Pinnacle Centre, Residential skyscraper complex on Toronto waterfront, Canada
Pinnacle Centre is a residential complex of four towers built on former railway lands between Yonge and Bay streets in downtown Toronto. The buildings range from 124 to 157 meters tall and hold nearly 1,900 apartments of different sizes.
The complex began construction in 2006 on industrial land that would reshape the area. All four towers were completed by 2011 and marked the start of converting this zone into a modern residential district.
The towers have reshaped Toronto's residential character along the waterfront edge. They demonstrate how the city has shifted from industrial use to housing neighborhoods stacked vertically.
The apartments range from small units to spacious layouts with multiple bedrooms. Visitors can explore the ground-level lobbies and walk along the waterfront pathway that connects the complex to nearby areas.
Each of the four towers has a different height and shape, giving the complex a varied appearance. This variation makes it particularly interesting to view from the water or from different vantage points.
