RBC WaterPark Place

RBC WaterPark Place is a 30-story office tower designed as a major workplace hub on Toronto's waterfront. The exterior features glass fins that manage sunlight and reduce glare, while the base includes a seven-story podium housing retail and dining spaces.

Construction began in 2011 under Oxford Properties Group and was completed in 2014 as part of Toronto's broader waterfront revitalization program. The building became part of a wider urban renewal effort to reshape the downtown core.

The food court on the second level serves the daily needs of office workers with both covered and open-air seating options. The shared space allows people from different companies to gather and interact throughout their workday.

The building links directly to Union Station via Toronto's covered PATH walkway system, offering dry access to transit during bad weather. This underground connection is especially valuable during winter months when outdoor navigation becomes difficult.

The tower earned LEED Platinum certification, one of the highest environmental standards for buildings, due to its energy-efficient design and material choices. This recognition reflects advanced strategies for reducing waste and lowering operating costs over time.
