Canadian Broadcasting Centre

The Canadian Broadcasting Centre is an administrative and production building in Toronto housing numerous studios and workspaces. It serves as the operational hub for national radio and television production as well as digital media operations across the country.

The building was completed in 1992 and resulted from a collaboration among multiple architecture firms including input from Phillip Johnson. Its completion marked a new standard for broadcasting facilities and production centers in Canada.

This building has been central to Canadian broadcasting and content creation since opening. Visitors can observe how national radio and television programs that shape the country are produced here.

The center is located in downtown Toronto on Front Street West and is well accessible by public transportation. Guided tours provide an overview of the facility, with visitors able to glimpse ongoing productions depending on what is available.
