Canadian Broadcasting Centre

The Canadian Broadcasting Centre contains 13 floors of studios, offices, and production facilities for radio, television, and digital media operations.

The structure, finished in 1992 at a cost of 381 million dollars, emerged from a collaboration between multiple architectural firms with Philip Johnson.

The building houses three main radio studios, including the Glen Gould Performance Studio, and nineteen network production spaces for Canadian content creation.

Located in downtown Toronto on Front Street West, the center offers guided tours where visitors can observe live broadcasts and production processes.

The building features a green elevator shaft that stands at an angle to the main structure within the atrium space.
