Bell Lightbox is a five-story building housing multiple cinemas and exhibition spaces for film and visual arts presentations throughout the year. It contains several screening rooms, galleries, a restaurant, and a bar.
The building opened in September 2010 and was created to provide Toronto with a permanent home for the International Film Festival. It was specifically designed to serve this purpose.
The center serves as a gathering space where film enthusiasts come together for screenings, exhibitions, and conversations with filmmakers from around the world. It functions as a hub for discovering new works and sharing ideas about cinema.

Each of the five screening rooms features specialized projection equipment capable of showing films in various formats. This ranges from digital presentations to traditional 35mm prints.
