The property was completed in 1913 by architects Burke, Horwood and White as headquarters for the Methodist Church administration. It was converted to a media facility in 1987 and served as a broadcasting center for decades.
The building earned recognition from the Ontario Association of Architects for its role in establishing Queen Street West as Toronto's cultural and media corridor.
