University of Guelph-Humber, Founded in 2002 the University of Guelph-Humber (UGH) is a collaboration between the University of Guelph and Humber College.
The University of Guelph-Humber is a four-year institution in Toronto that combines University of Guelph programs with Humber College diplomas. The campus sits within a bright modern building and offers seven bachelor degree programs in business, early childhood studies, social services, justice, kinesiology, media and communication, and psychology.
The university was founded in 2002 as a partnership between the University of Guelph and Humber College to give students a clear pathway from college to university. It has grown since then and become known for its focus on practical skills and high completion rates.
The university builds a tight-knit student community through clubs, organizations, and student government called Ignite. Open study areas and shared workspaces make it easy for students to connect and collaborate naturally throughout the campus.
The campus is easy to reach by public transit and located in a busy part of Toronto. The building contains classrooms, laboratories, study spaces, and outdoor areas where students can work and relax comfortably.
The campus features a four-story plant wall with more than 1,000 plants that naturally filters air and regulates temperature. Students and teachers find this innovative structure inspiring, and it is even used as a teaching tool in biology and sustainability classes.
