Boyd Conservation Area

Boyd Conservation Area is a 401-hectare protected area in Vaughan with open grassy fields, picnic areas, and playgrounds spread throughout its grounds. A network of walking trails winds through the Humber River valley, connecting different recreational zones.

The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority established this site in 1957 as a suburban preserve for environmental protection and public recreation. The creation reflected early efforts to maintain natural spaces as urban areas expanded outward.

This place serves as a gathering point for running clubs and athletic competitions throughout the year. The open fields and trails reflect how the community values outdoor sports and fitness activities.
