The roller coaster extends 3,828 feet in length, reaching heights of 90 feet and delivering an 87-foot drop at speeds of 55.9 miles per hour.
Opening in 1981 as one of Canada's Wonderland's first attractions, this roller coaster draws inspiration from Cincinnati's former Shooting Star at Coney Island park.
The name Minebuster reflects Canadian mining heritage, originally planned as centerpiece for the Frontier Canada section that materialized 38 years after park opening.
Two trains with five cars each transport 30 riders at once through a course lasting 2 minutes and 2 seconds with multiple negative-G hills.
The track layout incorporates a tunnel-enclosed helix at its finale, while four water slides from Splash Works park cross above the coaster's path.
