Canada's Wonderland spans 330 acres and contains 18 roller coasters, 70 rides, and numerous attractions including water slides and pools at Splash Works.
The park opened on May 23, 1981, through a partnership between Taft Broadcasting Company and Great-West Life Assurance Company as the first major theme park in Canada.
The Kingswood Music Theatre within the park hosts concerts and performances while seasonal celebrations include month-long Canada Day festivals and winter events.
The park operates from late April through Labor Day with extended dates until January, offering seasonal passes that include dining discounts and merchandise benefits.
In 2019, Canada's Wonderland became North America's most visited seasonal amusement park with 3.9 million guests exploring its extensive grounds.
