La Videmanette

La Videmanette is an alpine summit in the Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut District that rises above valleys and traditional mountain villages. The slopes are crossed by hiking trails and ski runs at different elevations, allowing visitors to explore varied terrain and landscapes.

The best way to reach the mountain is by train and cable car from major Swiss cities to the nearby town of Rougemont. The site is accessible year-round, with summer and winter each offering different activities and weather conditions suited to different types of visits.

In winter, skiers from different countries gather here for specialized training in multiple disciplines on the slopes. The area has become an important training hub for serious winter sports, attracting athletes seeking professional instruction.
