The memorial building features a two-story Shikumen architectural design with stone gate carvings, located at 76 Xingye Road near Shanghai Xintiandi pedestrian area.
The structure hosted the first national congress of thirteen Chinese Communist Party members on July 23, 1921, marking the official foundation of the political organization.
The exhibition hall spans 450 square meters, displaying revolutionary artifacts, documents, and photographs that detail the evolution of communist organizations in China.
Visitors can access the free museum via Metro Line 1 to South Huangpi Road Station or bus routes 146 and 805, with operating hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The museum contains a wax figure display recreating the inaugural meeting scene, featuring representations of Mao Zedong and other founding members.
