Yinxu, Archaeological site in China

Yinxu, the ruins of the ancient city of Yin, are located near Anyang.

Yinxu was the last capital of the Shang Dynasty around 1300-1046 BCE.

The site is famous for its oracle bone inscriptions, which gave insight into one of the earliest forms of Chinese writing.

Yinxu has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical significance.

The discovery of the Tomb of Fu Hao revealed a wealth of artifacts and insights into royal burials.
