Mount Longhu, Sacred Mountain in Yingtan, China

Mount Longhu rises 150 meters above sea level, featuring red cliffs and multiple peaks along the banks of the Luxi River.

Zhang Daoling established the Celestial Masters sect of Taoism on Mount Longhu during the Eastern Han Dynasty in the first century.

The mountain holds numerous Taoist temples, including the Shangqing Temple and the Mansion of the Taoist Master, marking its status as a Taoist center.

Visitors can access Mount Longhu through Yingtan city, with bamboo raft tours available for viewing the mountain landscape from the river.

Ancient coffins remain suspended on the cliff faces of Mount Longhu, preserving burial practices of the Guyue people from centuries past.
