Beihai Park, Chinese imperial garden in Shichahai Subdistrict, Beijing, China.

Beihai Park extends across 69 hectares of land, featuring extensive water bodies, traditional buildings, and architectural elements from multiple Chinese dynasties.

The garden originated in 1166 during the Liao Dynasty, initially named Yaoyu, and served as a retreat for government affairs and ceremonies through five imperial dynasties.

The White Dagoba, standing 40 meters tall on Jade Flower Island, represents the connection between Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist traditions within the garden.

The garden remains accessible through multiple public transportation options, with areas for walking, boating activities, and designated spaces for traditional exercise.

The Nine-Dragon Wall from 1402 displays intricate dragon designs using glazed bricks, making it one of three remaining walls of this type in China.
