Lu Xun Park, Urban park in Shinan District, Qingdao, China.
Lu Xun Park is an urban park in Shinan that stretches along Huiquan Bay and combines pine woods, stone paths, rocky outcrops, and small pavilions. The grounds span roughly four hectares with pathways leading toward the nearby Number One Bathing Beach.
The grounds were first created in 1929 as Ruoyu Park before receiving their current name in 1950 to honor the Chinese writer Lu Xun. This renaming reflected the site's growing importance in local culture.
The park honors the Chinese writer Lu Xun through various installations that visitors encounter while walking through the grounds. A corridor displays his poems, and a copper relief portrait of the author stands in the central section.
The park opens daily from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM with no admission fee, making it accessible to everyone. The nearby bathing beach is easily reached from here, and the pathways work well for a leisurely walk.
A three-meter granite statue of the writer stands at the entrance showing his distinctive profile. The archway above bears his name written in his own hand, creating a personal tribute to the author.
