Zhanshan Temple, Buddhist temple in Shinan District, Qingdao, China.
Zhanshan Temple spans 20,000 square meters with five halls and a pagoda, positioned between three mountains and the sea in eastern Qingdao.
The temple construction started in 1933 under the direction of Master Tanxu and reached completion in 1945, incorporating architectural elements from the Ming Dynasty.
The temple houses numerous Buddhist statues, including a white jade Guanyin figure at the entrance pool and Ming Dynasty stone lions guarding the mountain gate.
Located at 2 Zhiquan Road, the temple welcomes visitors from 8:00 to 16:30 with an entrance fee of 10 RMB, accessible via bus lines 206, 310, and 370.
The Hall of Three Saints contains three gilded statues measuring twelve feet tall, while the Hall of Recumbent Buddha displays a twenty-foot-long gilded figure.
