Wong Tai Sin Temple extends across 18,000 square meters at the foot of Lion Rock, featuring a golden roof, red pillars, and multicolored carvings.
The temple was established in 1921 when Leung Yan-am relocated the original altar from Wan Chai following the destruction of his medicine shop.
Devotees participate in kau chim, a divination method using bamboo sticks to receive guidance from the temple fortune tellers.
The temple welcomes visitors daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended hours during Lunar New Year celebrations.
The temple incorporates three philosophies with dedicated halls for Taoist, Buddhist, and Confucian worship.
