Yongchun County

Located in western Quanzhou, Yongchun County spans 1,469 square kilometers across varied terrain at an elevation of 121 meters above sea level.

The county underwent administrative changes from being part of Fuchien province until 1949, then Jinjian District until its establishment in May 1985.

The region preserves traditional martial arts through Yongchun White Crane Kung Fu, which developed during the 17th century as a distinct fighting style.

The county maintains connections to 22 towns and townships through an extensive road network, with Taocheng serving as the central administrative area.

The Dongguan Bridge, constructed in 1145, integrates religious shrines within its architectural structure, representing historical engineering methods.
