Memorial of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea

The memorial complex spans 182,000 square meters, featuring an exhibition hall, a panoramic viewing hall, and a 53-meter Memorial Tower on Mount Yinghua.

Established in 1958 as part of Dandong local history museum, the memorial received a new facility in 1993 to mark 40 years since the Panmunjom armistice.

The museum houses 20,000 artifacts, including battle reports, maps, medals, photographs, and videos documenting China's involvement in the Korean War.

Located five minutes by taxi from Dandong Railway Station, the museum contains outdoor exhibits with military equipment, tanks, aircraft, and anti-aircraft vehicles.

A 132-meter-wide panoramic painting depicts the Chinese People's Voluntary Army fighting UN forces at the Battle of Chongchon River in North Korea.
