Anshan Jade Buddha

The Anshan Jade Buddha is a temple complex in Anshan centered around a massive jade Buddha statue as its focal point. The grounds contain multiple temple buildings arranged around courtyards, with altars and meditation halls designed for Buddhist devotion and prayer.

The principal jade Buddha statue was discovered in Xiuyan County during 1960 and took several years of skilled work to complete. This discovery led to the establishment of the temple complex as a major religious site in the region.
