Uhingen is a town in the Fils valley in Baden-Württemberg with around 13,500 residents, composed of several neighborhoods including Sparwiesen, Nassach, and Baiereck. The area is surrounded by gentle hills, streams, and forests of the Schurwald region.
The town was first mentioned in historical records in 1275 and belonged to the County of Aichelberg until 1332. The wooden town hall with its distinctive roof and clock tower is the oldest in the district and dates to this early period.
