St. Elizabeth, Catholic church building in Jakobsplatz, Nuremberg, Germany

The round church features a prominent dome topped with a golden cross and twelve sculptures of apostles surrounding its cylindrical drum structure.

After negotiations from 1718 to 1780, architect Franz Ignaz Michael Neumann designed the new church to replace an inadequate structure from 1235.

The structure represents the only Roman Catholic presence in Nuremberg during the Protestant period, marking a significant religious distinction in the city.

Located at Jakobsplatz 7, the church stands adjacent to St. James Church and maintains regular opening hours for visitors seeking religious services.

The interior design includes granite columns and architectural elements that reflect specific influences from Roman religious buildings of the period.
