The Ring°racer stretches across 3,976 feet of track and reaches a height of 123 feet within the Nürburgring motorsport complex.
Following technical difficulties and safety concerns, the roller coaster operated for only four days in October 2013 before its permanent closure.
The Formula One-themed roller coaster represents the connection between thrill rides and German motorsport engineering at the Nürburgring racing venue.
The roller coaster features two trains with two cars each, configured to accommodate eight riders per train in a two-by-two seating arrangement.
Using a compressed air launch system, the Ring°racer accelerates from zero to 160 kilometers per hour in two seconds, matching Formula One acceleration.
